Shekinah Christian Ministries International is a non profit christian organization established in the city of Freeport, Grand Bahama to glorify God through the development of the members of the body of Christ. Since 1993 we have been carrying out un-interrupted christian ministry in our community and around the world.
Our focus is the development of the members of the Body of Christ to full maturity in Jesus Christ through the word of God.(the Bible). Secondly we are determined to infuse our community with the Gospel of jesus Christ by influence and example, as the living epistles. Shekinah Christian Ministries Int'l host Pre-Election Praisefest-6-05-2012
Shekinah Christian Ministries Int'l joined forces with Shoemate gospel promotions out of Mobile , Alabama to host a Pre-Election Praisefest here at our local assembly on Sunday , 6th. of May 2012. The event was spirited and moderately well attended as many artists connected to both organizations turned out and totally offered a radical praise to God as we sought his divine direction for our nation's historic elections held on the 7th of May 2012.
The event got underway shortly after 7:30p.m as Bishop Roberts opened the evening with praise and worship and the opening prayer was done by Minister Craig Major. Shekinah Praise Team got the evening of to a great start as they wooed the audience with some of their classic songs and introduced them to some of the new material which will be out to the market soon. Following the Shekinah Praise Team, Bro. Malachi Roberts took the microphone and blessed the audience with his rendition of "Try Jesus". Ms. Kaderata Wildgoose blessed the house with her rendition of "I Wanna make you Smile", worship anthem. He continued to share his anointed talents with the group of international and local worshippers as he belted out another of his signature songs.
The mood of the c elebration then shifted as the artist from the U. S. A took to the stage. They truly delivered heartfelt renditions unto the lord as original as well as traditional songs were presented for the audience. Memorable events were created by Young Prophet who declared the word of God through rap music and The Messenger also followed in the same vein. The talented fruit of the Spirit Gospel singers brought the house down with their Southern Style Gospel Music. The American Gospel segment was capped off with a dynamic selection by the Horn Blowing Preacher, Rev. Gant from North Florida. His spirited selection of songs fused with jazz and gospel captured the hearts of the worshippers. Closing off the evening was the incredible "Roberts Sisters of High Rock, Grand Bahama.,,This event was extremely successfull. Plans are c urrently underway for tours in the U. Shekinah Christian Ministries will be hosting our Spring Revival meeting beginning May 16-28th. 2012, with Apostle Dorothy Harris, of Chicago Illinois. Apostle Harris and family are long standing friends of our ministry and will be travelling with some eighteen delegates to share in this time of fellowship with Shekinah Christian Ministries and to bring her powerful ministry of prophesy and the word to the people of the Bahamas.
